HumanAI ("we", "us", "our") operates the website humanize.toolly.site and related services. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using HumanAI, you agree to the practices described here.

Our core promise: text you submit to the AI Humanizer, AI Detector, or any other tool is never permanently stored on our servers. Your input is processed in-memory to generate results and is immediately discarded.

We do not retain, log, or share your submitted content with third parties. This is a fundamental design principle — your words stay yours.

We collect minimal data necessary to operate the service:

• Usage data: pages visited, tools used, and approximate usage frequency (used to improve our service and prevent abuse).
• Technical data: browser type, device type, and IP address (used for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention).
• Account data (paid plans only): email address, subscription status, and billing information processed securely through our payment provider.
• Cookies and local storage: theme preference, session tokens, and usage limits (see our Cookie Policy below).

We use the limited data we collect for the following purposes:

• Operating and maintaining the service, including rate limiting and abuse prevention.
• Improving our tools, user experience, and website performance.
• Processing payments and managing paid subscriptions.
• Communicating with you about your account, updates, and support requests.
• Complying with legal obligations and protecting against fraud.

When you use our tools, your text is sent to our AI processing provider (OpenAI) via encrypted connection for real-time analysis or humanization. The provider processes the text transiently and does not retain it beyond the processing window.

We have configured our API integration to minimize data retention on the provider side. No submitted text is used for model training.

We use cookies and browser local storage for essential functions only:

• Theme preference (light/dark mode) — stored locally in your browser.
• Usage counters — track free-tier daily limits (3 uses per tool per day).
• Session tokens — for authenticated users on paid plans.
• Analytics cookies — help us understand aggregate usage patterns.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Essential functionality (theme, usage limits) will still work via local storage fallback.

We integrate with the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• OpenAI — AI text processing (API calls, no training on your data).
• Stripe — Payment processing (we never see or store your card details).
• Google Analytics — Aggregate, anonymized traffic analytics.
• Cloudflare — CDN and security services.

Submitted text: Not retained — processed and immediately discarded.

Usage data: Retained for up to 90 days, then aggregated and anonymized.

Account data: Retained for the duration of your subscription, plus 30 days after cancellation for refund processing.

Security logs: Retained for up to 12 months for fraud and abuse prevention.

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, and others), you may have the following rights:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
• Erasure — request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restriction — request we limit processing of your data.
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Objection — object to certain types of processing.
• Withdrawal — withdraw consent for consent-based processing at any time.

HumanAI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We take appropriate measures to ensure your data is protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law, including standard contractual clauses where required.

We implement industry-standard security practices including TLS encryption for all data in transit, secure API key management, regular security audits, and minimal data collection by design. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending an email to registered users. The "Last Updated" date below indicates when this policy was last revised.
